Hello, world — why zylio exists

Too much software is slow, bloated, and quietly working against you. zylio is the opposite bet: fast, honest software you actually own — starting with ChronosGG and Downloader Pro.

zylio exists because too much software is slow, bloated, and quietly working against the person running it — bundling toolbars, phoning home, burying the one thing you wanted under menus and upsells.

We think software should be the opposite of that: fast, honest, and yours. It should launch instantly, do its job exceptionally well, respect your machine and your attention, and never make you wonder what it's doing behind your back.

What lives here

This site is where zylio software ships:

  • ChronosGG — a LAN-based control suite for gaming cafés: live PC grid, flexible billing, automatic lockdown, voice alerts, and real revenue reports. Fully offline, free, self-hosted.
  • Downloader Pro — an IDM-style download manager with segmented multi-connection speed and pause/resume that survives anything short of a disk failure.

Every release is versioned and published here directly — no accounts, no trials, no dark patterns. Much of our work is source-available, so you can read the code and see exactly what runs on your computer.

What's next

The journal is where we write release notes worth reading and occasional deep-dives into how things work under the hood. If you want one email when something ships — and nothing else, ever — the newsletter signup on the homepage does exactly that.

And if you need something built that doesn't exist yet, we take on a small number of custom software projects.

Thanks for being here early. It only gets faster from now.
